A month after Wanderer moves back into Ian and Jamie’s room, Jamie and Jared are on a raid. Ian comes to cheer Wanderer up. She is worried because they are still not back, so Ian takes her to the game room, where Wes and a woman named Lily are waiting to play soccer with them. Wanderer is surprised by how much she enjoys the game, which allows her to focus on the moment instead of worrying. She and Ian play well together, and they win the match. Ian and Wanderer then play one-on-one, but Ian is too easy on her. Wanderer tells him he can stay in her room until Jared and Jamie return if he wins, which motivates him.

The raiding team returns, and Wanderer races to find Jamie and Jared. Jamie is waiting beside a woman named Trudy, and Wanderer hugs him. Jamie was injured during the raid, having fallen on a knife, and it is clear that something else happened; however, Trudy will not say what. Wanderer takes Jamie to their room and then asks Ian to get them food. When Ian leaves, Wanderer tells Jamie she forgot something and leaves.
